A magazine for women 5’4″ and under
Petite Revue covers one subject properly: building a polished, feminine wardrobe on a frame that mainstream sizing was not drafted for, without overspending, and without assuming a tailor is part of every purchase.
The problem is geometry, not taste
Most style advice written for petite women is a list of prohibitions: avoid this length, never wear that shape. It is not exactly wrong, and it is not much use, because it treats a structural problem as a matter of taste.
A shorter frame has less vertical space to distribute the same number of horizontal lines: hems, cuffs, waistbands, plackets. That is a geometry problem, and geometry can be planned. Almost everything on this site follows from that one observation: reduce the number of visible breaks, push the remaining ones further apart, and read the four published measurements that predict where they will land.
The second thing we care about is money. Petite sizing is often used to justify either paying more or accepting alterations on everything. Neither is necessary as often as it is claimed, and knowing which alterations are worth paying for is a larger saving than any discount code.
Clothes should fit a shorter frame without alteration wherever that is possible, and look considered rather than expensive.

What we will and will not say
A fashion site that recommends things has exactly one asset, and it is not its photography.
- We do not claim to have tested what we have not tested
- Guidance on this site is derived from published size charts and garment measurements, and it says so. Where a claim would require having worn a garment, we either do not make it or we attribute it properly. “Editor researched” and “based on published measurements” are used literally.
- Measurements are sourced, or marked unavailable
- The brand directory reports figures brands publish. Where a figure is not published, the entry reads “Not published”. It is never estimated, inferred from a size label, or filled in from a comparable brand.
- Commercial relationships never decide recommendations
- We expect to earn affiliate commission on some retail links in future. Commission will never determine whether a garment is recommended, and no brand can pay for inclusion in the editorial or the directory. Anything sponsored will be labelled as sponsored.
- No manufactured social proof
- You will not find invented reviews, testimonials, subscriber counts or awards anywhere on this site. When there are numbers worth quoting, they will be real ones.
