Start with part one
A capsule wardrobe being assembled in three stages down the frame: a single jacket, then three coordinated pieces, then the finished set with folded support and shoes.

The argument

What this series claims

A capsule is not a shorter shopping list; it is a set of constraints that make a small wardrobe produce a surprising number of arrangements. The Academy works through those constraints in order: tonal family first, then measurement filters per slot, then counting outfits rather than garments, then sequencing purchases by leverage instead of desire.

Reading order

The parts

Published in order. Each part assumes the ones before it, so reading them in sequence is worth more than picking one out.

  1. Eight Pieces That Carry a Petite Work Wardrobe10 min readA working week needs fewer garments than most wardrobes contain. These eight cover it, drafted for a shorter frame.
  2. 4 further parts in preparationAnnounced rather than written. The series is published in order, so this slot stays empty until the part behind it is finished.
